Welcome to the Westlake Flotilla CGA 30-05 Div 30 8th Western Region website. We have been based at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri since 1992. We serve the Lake community and surrounding areas with a variety of activities such as Boating Safely Classes, free vessel inspections and safety patrols.
We are an active group and a three time winner of the prestigious Commodore Streamer placing us in the top 11% of all flotillas in the United States.

Flotilla Commander - Carroll Vogel
Carroll has been a member of CGA for 6 years. He
is qualified as coxswain, crew and a member of DSAR
Team 2009. He works with RSBPV(Program Visitor)
and VE (Vessel Examiner). |

Vice Flotilla Commander- Don Huschle
Don has been a member of the CGA since 1975
and recently transferred from O'Fallon, IL.
He is a qualified Instructor, Aide to Navigation and
VE. He is currently pursuing Crew and recently
completed the Flotilla Commander Academy.

Immediate Past Flotilla Commander - Virginia Rice
Virginia has been a member of CGA for 12 years, is qualified
coxswain and crew and is Public Education Officer. She has been
responsible for our award winning Phased school program which
is presented at several schools in our area. Virginia was recently
appointed to the National Staff as Branch Assistant, Youth Courses, BC-ETZ
and received the Coast Guard Auxiliary Achievement Medal. |
